Separation Anxiety

It seems as though Quinn is having a little separation anxiety. Apparently kids can go through it at any point, and since she never had an issue when she first started school, it seems it's her time. There are other things going on that have no doubt had an effect on her. Her grandfather was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and was in the hospital for 2 weeks. It was these same two weeks that she was having problems at school and at nighttime. Coincidence? Probably not. I don't think she understands that the two are connected - but we do. In any case, Papa was home from the hospital a few days ago and she got to visit him. Last night she slept through the night for the first time in weeks. I guess I can tell my wife to cancel the pediatric psychiatrist appointment.
