Me and My Girl

I got to spend a lot of time with my older daughter today – something I don’t get to do very often anymore now that she’s in school. The best part of the day was when she curled up next to me on the couch and actually took a nap with me while we watched the Syracuse/UConn basketball game. S.U. – my alma mater – won…, which made it even nicer. :-)

A reader of this blog reminded me that I was a photographer in a former life. My wife and I do this thing where every other Saturday is “your” Saturday – if you have something to do, or if you just want to get out of the house alone for the day, it’s your day to do it…, no questions asked. My wife went out on her Saturday for lunch and shopping with her sister, so I took the girls to my studio to take some new pictures. I take snapshots all the time, but it had been about a year since I had them in the studio for some formal pics. We all had a great time and I got some really nice shots…
